Privacy & payments
Contributions support the development and operation of Go With Your Dog. They are optional and do not unlock features or content. The app remains free for everyone.
Your payment
Payments are in US dollars and are processed by Stripe. A one-time contribution is charged once. Monthly contributions are charged immediately and then monthly until canceled. Your payment screen shows the amount and frequency before you authorize it.
Go With Your Dog is not presented as a registered charity, and we do not issue charitable tax-deduction receipts.
Information we use
Stripe collects payment details and an email address for receipts and payment management. We receive payment status, amount, and the contact information Stripe makes available to help with your contribution. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
Our payment records contain amounts, frequency, status, dates, and Stripe reference numbers. A necessary browser cookie connects your checkout with its confirmation and expires after one day. We use short-lived security records to limit repeated payment attempts; these do not store your raw IP address.
Payment information is used for billing, accounting, fraud prevention, and support. Contributing does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We retain accounting records for as long as needed for applicable recordkeeping obligations and delete temporary abuse-prevention records after expiration.

Contacting us
When you use the contact form, your name, email address, and message are sent through Resend to Ron’s Fastmail inbox. If you request a copy, we send one to the email address you enter. We use this information to answer your message, not to subscribe you to marketing.
Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the form from spam. Temporary security counters limit repeated submissions and expire after two hours; they do not contain your raw IP address or message. Correspondence is kept in our email services while needed to handle your request.

Cancellation and refunds
Manage or cancel monthly support using a secure email link. Cancellation stops future billing and does not automatically refund payments already made. If you made a mistake or need a refund, contact Ron so we can help.
